The artist is deeply fascinated by the study of the laws of physics that govern the interaction of light with matter, convinced that this awareness can also enrich the way we experience our daily lives. Exploring how light transforms the colors of the landscape into a harmonious dance is not just an aesthetic phenomenon, but becomes a form of therapy. This approach is an invitation for everyone to open up more consciously to what surrounds us, to extrovert our minds toward the world, allowing us to better perceive what’s around us and to restore an energetic balance that embraces both humans and the environment.
To make this artistic research visible, Simona Snider has created an original language, focused on studying the visible spectrum through the decomposition of light and the forms of subjects. She has developed a personal research method called perscrutazione, a meticulous and in-depth observation of different aspects of reality, nature, and man’s architectural interventions. This approach does not simply replicate what is visible but highlights the details and main characteristics that escape superficial observation, then focuses on the energy that emerges and is stored in our minds.
Often, what is not observed or perceived seems not to exist; the artist goes beyond this invisibility, bringing to light phenomena that frequently go unnoticed, such as the decomposition of the smallest details of nature and electromagnetic waves into color and energy. Through this analytical lens, real details are transformed into a new point of view, and consequently, her work becomes an act of revelation, an invitation to look beyond the visible and capture the hidden energy that animates the world.
